Every Open Signal station currently on the air, placed at its grid square, with live lines between stations in contact and honest handling of missing locators.
The Map section shows every Open Signal station currently on the air, placed at their grid square, with lines between stations that are working each other.
- The map itself — pan and zoom like any map. Markers: green is you, amber is a transmitting station, blue is on air. Click a marker for the operator’s profile. A line between two markers means an active contact; the label shows who’s working whom and on what frequency.
- Sync — refresh on demand. Presence updates flow roughly once a minute on their own; Sync re-reports your own frequency (in case you just QSYed) and pulls the roster immediately.
- Fit all — zoom to frame every visible station.
Stations without a locator
A station that’s clearly active but never set a grid square isn’t hidden: if it’s in contact with a located station, it appears as a dashed ring near that contact, labelled “≈ near … — no locator set”, so approximate never masquerades as exact. Anything unplaceable is named in the header rather than silently dropped.
